The Seagull Composite Material VTOL Mapping Drone is hybrid UAV that is able to take off and land vertically just like a Quadcopter. It can automatically transit to efficient and fast forward flight like fixed wing after reach the optimal airspeed. Seagull Composite Material VTOL Mapping Drone combines the advantages from fixed wing, such as high speed, long endurance and long flight distance and VTOL features from multi-copters.

Seagull Composite Material VTOL Mapping Drone does not requires any special launch equipment and also it does not need a runway for takingoff or landing. Pilot just need to use Ground Control Software such as QGC, Mission Planner to plan a mission, then when take it off to reach a safe atitude then can switch to Auto for autonomous mapping missions. Seagull Composite Material VTOL Mapping Drone is widely applied for aerial mapping, aerial surveying, also can be used for aerial surveillance and inspection under extreme terrain, such as between mountain areas, hills, forestry and buildings.
